Whether you want to ride dinosaurs in the distant future or herd talking cats across roguelite labyrinths, 2026 is set to blow your mind. Ready for an epic sneak peek?

New Worlds & Distant Galaxies

  • A spiritual successor to Dino Crisis launches us into the 25th century. Humanity teeters on the brink of extinction, escaping to Trappist 1-E to rebuild civilization. But there’s a rather major hiccup: surviving women have become sterile. The Aion colony gets creative—using time-travel tech to recruit women from the past. Violet, the heroine, is pulled from her era and sent to Trappist 1-E, a giant complex mysteriously overrun by dinosaurs. If you like your sci-fi with a prehistoric bite, this one’s for you.
  • Hytale is a sandbox RPG from the team behind the Hypixel Minecraft server—yes, those modding legends! Aimed to delve even deeper than Minecraft, it offers expanded universes and more creative tools and content-building options. If you ever felt limited by blocks, Hytale wants to set your imagination loose.
  • Mio: Memories in Orbit comes from French studio Douze Dizièmes. This 2D action-adventure platformer lands you in a sci-fi world as Mio, a tiny robot trying to rescue a doomed mothership. Think atmosphere, challenge, and some adorable metal courage.
  • Arknights: Endfield is a free-to-play role-playing game blending strategy, set in the Arknights universe. In a wild, untamed world, you play as an Enfield Industries agent, tasked with exploring and uncovering the mystery hidden in the planet’s abandoned ruins.

Action-Packed, Tactical & Just Plain Wild

  • Highguard throws you into a PvP online shooter, crafted by former developers of Titanfall and Apex Legends. Each playable character comes with unique abilities, requiring teamwork and cunning to claim enemy territory. Lock and load—chaos awaits!
  • Cairn is a climbing survival adventure. Live out the wild ascent of Aava, who risks everything for the climb of her life. Plot your own routes and scale Mount Kami. Safety rope not included.
  • Code Vein II (from Bandai Namco Studios) is a semi-open world action-RPG. Play as a revenant hunter, relying on the support of a mysterious young girl named Lou to defeat the terrifying Luna Rapacis. To succeed, you’ll have to switch between past and present.
  • The Legend of Heroes: Trails beyond the Horizon celebrates 20 years of the Trails series and concludes the Calvard arc that began with Trails through Daybreak. RPG veterans, clear your schedule.
  • YAPYAP is a co-op horror game all about magic and mayhem! You and up to five friends become summoned minions, breaking into a rival wizard’s towers. Cast spells, wreak magical havoc, and try to avoid the magical creatures guarding the place (and probably the cleaning fees).
  • PUBG: Blindspot brings strategic 5v5 top-down shooting where tactical vision is everything. Multiple playable classes add replay value. The title is currently in early access—get in on the ground floor if you can keep your head.

Nostalgia, Remakes & Reinventions

  • Dragon Quest VII Reimagined revamps the beloved classic. You play as a fisherman’s son longing to see a world beyond peaceful Melyor Island. Akira Toriyama’s characters are newly reimagined in 3D, with features like dual-class jobs and turn-based battles that can be sped up or even automated. It’s your old favorite, but with some shiny upgrades.
  • My Hero Academia: All’s Justice delivers 3D versus fighting based on the manga universe, focusing on the final story arc: the epic showdown between the superheroes, All for One, and Tomura Shigaraki.
  • Nioh 3 continues Team Ninja and Koei Tecmo’s legendary samurai saga. Play as a heroic samurai facing enemies using two distinct combat styles: samurai and ninja. Yes, you can be both—just don’t try it at home.
  • Mewgenics comes from Edmund McMillen, the mind behind Super Meat Boy and The Binding of Isaac. Embark on a turn-based role-playing adventure starring cats with randomly generated runs and unique biological traits that could be the difference between feline fame and furball failure.
  • Romeo is a Dead Man is the ultraviolent, adrenaline-pumping new sci-fi game from Grasshopper Manufacture. Play as an FBI agent tracking criminals through space and time, armed to the teeth with both melee and ranged weapons—monsters, beware!
  • Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties is a remake of Yakuza 3, first released on PS3 in 2010. This time, Kiryu Kazuma takes on new adventures on Okinawa Island, running an orphanage with his adopted daughter. Now with a new combat style for Kiryu and, for the first time, a side story letting you step into the shoes of antagonist Yoshitaka Mine.
  • Mario Tennis Fever, brought to you by Camelot Software, serves up tennis in the Mario universe. With frantic racket mechanics, each racket boasting its own special power, a whopping 38 playable characters, game modes like Trial Tower, and an Adventure mode that turns Mario and his friends into babies. Who says tennis can’t be unpredictable?

Creepy, Cozy & Everything In Between

  • Reanimal is a cooperative horror-adventure game. You play as a brother and sister pair making their way through hell to save their loved ones—a journey marked by terror and challenging platforming.
  • High on Life 2 continues right where the first game left off. The Bounty Hunter and their chatty weapons (the Gatlians) now face a pharmaceutical conglomerate that turns humans into drugs. The FPS Metroidvania-style gameplay features three huge hubs, a crucial space skateboard, and brand new talkative weapons, including the duo Travis and Jan. Yes, your gun will probably have an opinion.
  • Styx: Blade of Greed sees the return of the goblin thief Styx, who’s just as sneaky, snarky, and skillful as ever. Explore the continent of Iserian, eliminate your enemies, and snatch up precious (but dangerous) quartz as war looms between elves, humans, and orcs.
  • Reigns: The Witcher is the latest in the ‘swipe ‘em all’ series from Nerial and Devolver Digital, now set in The Witcher universe. Gameplay revolves around swiping cards left or right to make decisions as Geralt of Rivia—well, sort of, through the eyes of bard Jaskier. Every choice alters the world and the Butcher of Blaviken’s reputation. Talk about swipe pressure!
  • Resident Evil Requiem is the ninth entry in the legendary action-horror game series. Officially revealed at a Capcom event, you’ll play as Grace Ashcroft as she returns to Racoon City to investigate her mother Alyssa Ashcroft’s murder. Expect chills and, of course, a serious lack of umbrella-based safety.
  • Pokémon Pokopia takes the cozy life-sim genre and throws in a dose of Ditto. You’ll play as Ditto, learning the techniques of the Pokémon you encounter to shape the world as you like. Gather resources, build homes—even customize Pokémon houses. Home is where the Poké is!
  • Marathon (by Bungie and published by PlayStation) is a first-person PvP shooter. Play as a runner heading to a ghost ship adrift in orbit—what could possibly go wrong?
  • 1348 Ex Voto lets you embody Aeta, a young wandering chevalier, on a merciless quest through a troubled medieval Italy to save a loved one. Legends and knighthood come together in this action-adventure inspired by classic medieval tales.
